Responsibilities
– Can read and make EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment)
– Supervise and comment on the installation, testing, and operation of the pipes and equipment of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and water treatment plant (WTP).
– Cooperate with the contractors to set up the WWTP and WTP
– Perform environmental monitoring and coordinate with the competent authorities on all environmental matters and report to the leader
In the process of operating:
– Supervise and operate the water treatment plant to ensure the treated wastewater is discharged in compliance with the laws and regulations.
– Supervise and control the parameters of wastewater quality from plants.
– Make plans and perform preventive and corrective equipment maintenance in wastewater treatment plants and lift stations.
– Plan and perform maintenance and calibration of monitoring and analyzing equipment
– Work with suppliers and recommend to direct management for the approval of the supply of chemicals, materials, and services to ensure normal and continuous operations
– Coordinate with authorities on all wastewater and environmental issues and report them to the head of the department.
– Guide and consult clients on wastewater connection
– Report monthly on wastewater quality, sludge volume, chemicals use, and monitoring data
– Ensure the safety at the WWTP construction site
– Other tasks as required by the Board of Directors
Job Requirement
– Bachelor’s Degree in one of these majors: Biology, Chemistry, Water, Environment,…
– 3-year-experience in operating water and wastewater treatment operation
– Ability to analyze wastewater quality and solid knowledge of activated sludge
– Experience in operating and setting up wastewater treatment is preferable
– Can communicate in English and read equipment instruction documents
– Computer skills (MS Office and CAD are preferred)
– Technical thinking on wastewater treatment and analysis
– Have troubleshooting skills and knowledge of environmental laws and regulations
