Construction Engineer is a position responsible for the overall implementation and management of on-site construction activities, including preparing construction drawings, controlling technical quality, monitoring progress, and managing cost estimates, payments, and completion documents. Construction engineers play a key role in ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with designs, technical standards, timelines, and cost efficiency.
1. Responsibilities
– Prepare construction drawings and ensure all documentation aligns with actual site conditions
– Directly supervise on-site construction activities; coordinate with the Investor, Supervising Consultant, and construction teams to ensure progress and technical quality
– Manage and supervise construction teams; support troubleshooting technical issues at the site
– Propose optimal technical solutions during construction
– Inspect and verify work at each stage; prepare acceptance reports as required
– Prepare and maintain quality management documents and construction diaries
– Prepare cost estimates; review and quantify materials and work volume based on design drawings
– Prepare payment and settlement documents
– Prepare as-built documentation and as-built drawings according to actual progress
– Prepare tender documents including quotations, construction methods, schedules, capability profiles; collect and consolidate data for bid pricing
2. Job Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Civil and Industrial Engineering, or related fields
– Minimum 03 years of experience in the role of Construction Engineer / Site Engineer
– Strong planning, time management, and problem-solving skills
– Proficient in office software: Word, Excel, AutoCAD, etc.
– Solid understanding of Vietnamese and international construction standards and regulations
– Able to travel or work at construction sites as assigned
– Good health, high sense of responsibility, proactive working attitude
